Manufacturing

Due to the high cost of shipping parts and reduced control over quality when having outside
manufacturers, I have now started building up my own manufacturing facility.

Over the last year, I have been acquiring as much machinery as possible to start on production of many
of the basic parts we need for our cars. Over time, the quantity of machinery and level of expertise
required to operate it will expand so that every part can be reproduced to the highest possible quality.

Some of the parts which have been manufactured in house are now in the shop and additional parts are
always being worked on. It will take time to become fully operational but I think you will agree that every
part produced will be a bonus.

Some parts which require heavy plant and machinery will continue to be produced overseas as the
costs involved in buying this machinery is prohibitive. I have a very good working relationship with a
quality assured company who has been making the heavy iron parts for me and they will continue to do
so as long as the quality remains as it is.

It is unfortunate that due to the low demand of certain parts and the high cost of producing those parts,
some items may never go into production again so I encourage all of you to try to repair or restore as
much as you can. I have given some tips on the YouTube channel and will continue to do so in future
videos.

It is worth noting that a single part can take up to one year to produce ready for use. I have limited time
and budget so there is rarely more than 5 parts on the go at any one time but this will increase as we go
along.
